Flying Ostrich™ was born on one of those surreal New York days.
The sky glowing yellow with wildfire smoke and the city was feeling off-balance. After a long day at the office and a quick workout, our founder, Aysel, felt dizzy, foggy, and drained. It wasn’t exhaustion, it was dehydration. But nothing on the shelf quite fit the moment.
After a day in the office, she didn’t need a sports drink designed for athletes, she wanted something clean, mineral-rich, and refreshing, made for everyday hydration.
So she made her own, by bootstrapping Flying Ostrich from a simple idea into a reality.

Those hazy New York days were a reminder of how much our environment affects us, and they helped shape our mission: clean hydration that also supports our planet. As we grow, we’ll donate a portion of profits to organizations protecting our oceans and keeping our waters clean.
